Jie Jie Foundation is a tax-exempt, not-for-profit, publicly supported charity qualified under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. Jie Jie Foundation was created to enhance the lives of orphaned Chinese children, specifically school-aged girls preparing for life after the orphanage. Our board is comprised entirely of adoptive parents of Chinese children. Our lives and the lives of our children have truly been blessed. However, our joy is tempered by the knowledge that many children in Chinese orphanages will never be a part of a forever family. We want to make a positive difference in some of their lives. In April 2005 we formed Jie Jie Foundation as a vehicle to raise funds to be used to help mitigate the plight of these un-adopted Chinese orphans.
